Following on from “Royal Hotel, Boyle – the future”, my valued source has informed me that Roscommon Co Co employees have carried out works to secure the building from intruders
Royal Hotel, Boyle – the future
Roscommon Co Council own the Royal Hotel on Bridge Street. Local councillors have been informed that council officials are currently seeking consultants who will offer suggestions as to what might be done with the building and the site. If consultancy fees exceed €6,000, three quotes will have to be sought.
• The consultancy process is one that will take time, bearing in mind that public money will be spent and that the site is a very important one in the centre of town.
