Launch of the Boyle 5km walk/run in Daly’s, Bridge Street – Tuesday 4th April
• A capacity audience gathered for the launch of this very special event that included the Boyle DIL core group as well as DIL groups and friends from Roscommon, Sligo, Carrick-on-Shannon, Castlerea, Ballymote and Banada. Canon Gerry Hanly, Garda Sergeant Bernard Kilroy and Community Garda Michael Pilkington were present for the slideshow and presentations by Pieta House and Electric Ireland management teams
• “Darkness into Light 2017” is the Pieta House signature Awareness and fundraising event. The event will begin in darkness at 4.15am on Saturday morning, 6th May 2017, and end as the sun begins to rise.
