The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has announced that the Covid 19 restrictions will remain in place for another three weeks – until Tuesday, May the 5th.
• The Minister for Education, Joe McHugh, has confirmed that this year’s Leaving Certificate examinations are being postponed until the end of July or early August.
• The Junior Cert is being cancelled. Junior cert students will instead, sit school-based exams at the beginning of the new school year.
