Webcam on the Crescent?
The suggestion that a webcam might be installed on The Crescent, facing down towards Bridge Street is a good one. I would suggest that our Chamber of Commerce or Town Team add the suggestion to their plans for a further Boyle ‘attention grabber’ that would appeal to locals and our diaspora. Now that Trader Parking Laws have been adopted and will hopefully be policed, events on the Crescent and Bridge Street including the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Festivals, Cycling etc as well as everyday movements could be viewed worldwide. Permission would have to be sought from the owners of premises for placement of such a webcam …
