In this general area, Roscommon Town, Carrick-on-Shannon, Keadue and Castlecoote secured gold medal awards.
Keadue regained its place in top spot, which Chairperson Pairic Noone says was a great community effort.
The community in Carrick-on-Shannon are also celebrating after picking up a gold medal – Paschal Maguire, Chair of the Committee, says they upped their score by 7 points this year and this couldn’t have been achieved without so many groups coming on board.
