John Mulligan is a man whose opinions I share, and particularly as they relate to the current presidential ‘race’. On page 46 of this week’s Roscommon Herald, John wrote in his column “We have a series of irrelevant arguments from a disparate bunch of candidates with nothing in common except a blind certainty that they can do the job, when it is obvious to almost everyone that they are among the least suited to the role, and that President Higgins is so much better suited to the role than them that they might as well quit now”
