If you were at last night’s Sean Keane concert in Boyle (Saturday 7th) you will agree it was a beautiful event in homely surroundings. Sean, with guitarist Pat Coyne came on stage following another great set by the ‘relief band’ (as he called himself), our own Donal O’Connor. Sean Keane sings with the same engaging ‘Connemara drawl’ as his sister, the renowned Galway singer Dolores Keane. Not only is Sean a wonderful singer with a great stage presence, he is also a multi-instrumentalist, and last night played Whistle, Feadóg Mór and harmonica. Oiche mhaith ar fad!!
