The weather almost forced a postponement of this great day in Abbey Park, but thankfully the clouds rolled back, the sun shone through close to lunchtime and a great Sports Day was enjoyed by teachers and their eager, enthusiastic pupils. This was a great bonding occasion for teachers and pupils outside the daily school routine. We had all of the traditional events … egg & spoon, wheelbarrow, one-legged, three-legged, relay races etc etc. Well done to all involved.
