Saturday 3rd December: Santa arrived in Boyle as requested by Boyle Chamber of Commerce on a sleigh constructed for the occasion by Boyle Mens Shed.
• Keith Suffin and his tractor towed Santa’s sleigh and his elves on a trip around town, generously giving Santa’s reindeers the night off
• On the Crescent, a large audience of parents and children gave the touring Santa and elves a rapturous welcome.
• DJ Dermot provided seasonal ‘toons’ and commentary while our Scouts dispensed tasty and welcome hot chocolate made over their log fire.
• Between selfies with this year’s colouring competition winners and just about all of the children, Santa pressed the plunger turning on this year’s excellent Boyle Christmas Lights and one might say officially declared Boyle open for Christmas 2016
