Shannonside News: The design for enhanced safety measures at N4 between Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon is being undertaken by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) consultants in Donegal.
• The project involves establishing new turning-lanes for the Cootehall and Croghan junctions, which have caused more than 22 crashes since 2000, according to campaigners.
