This town centre building is just one of several derelict buildings that will ‘greet’ visitors to our once proud and lovely streets, and all because of broken, neglected guttering!
• In the past a notable building needed a facelift and got one courtesy of a national paint company and the efforts of a group of concerned locals. Perhaps these same locals will come to our rescue again!
• Our traders maintain their premises in pristine condition, well done to them, and may feel deserted by some ‘powers that be’!
• For all I know, our Town Team / Tidy Towns etc have discussed facelift plans ‘behind the scenes’, but if they have they are keeping info from the public … surprise, surprise!!
