The death has occurred of Michael Hannon, Knocknaskeagh, Gurteen, Co. Sligo, December 1st 2020. Peacefully, at the Mater Private Hospital after a short illness.
Pre-deceased by his parents Mai and Vestie and his sister Mary. Michael will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Margaret, sons Shane (Maree), Ray (Boyle) and Declan (Tubbercurry), daughter Linda, daughters-in-law Fiona, Lizi and Sharon, son-in-law Ross, brothers Sylvester, Bernard and Chris, sisters Colette, Assumpta and Regina, uncles Frank and Joe Kerins, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
May Michael’s Gentle Soul Rest in the Peace he so richly deserves.
Removal from his home on Thursday, December 3rd, to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery. House private to family and close friends only please. Due to current government and H.S.E. guidelines in relation to Covid 19, Michael’s Funeral Mass will take place privately. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen
