Martin Lydon, Roscommon Co Council Acting Director of Services – Planning and Enterprise was interviewed on Shannonside FM this afternoon and spoke regarding Boyle :-
• Lough Key Forest Park has 200,000 visitors anually and is a key element in north Roscommon Tourism. There is a plan being discussed that would see a greenway between the Park and Boyle town that would benefit both sides
• Accommodation remains a problem in the town of Boyle
