A sun-kissed evening-shadowed Abbey Park was the venue on Friday evening, 1st July as the Ladies U14 C Final was played by two spirited, highly skilled teams. Leitrim 6:13 V Sligo 2:04. Marie Hickey, Pesident of the LGFA paid tribute to both teams, their mentors and all involved while thanking Boyle GAA for hosting this All Ireland Final. “The Boyle Committee were most welcoming and facilities in Abbey Park are first class” Marie said, before presenting Player of the Match, Leitrim’s Muireann Devanney with a special engraved glass trophy and the All-Ireland Cup to Leitrim team Captain Caoimhe McGarry
