• You must have plenty of money, and a marketing plan/dream
• Buy a suitable site (Oh, WE HAVE ONE!!)
• Apply for Planning Permission (Oh, DONE YEARS AGO!!)
• Employ and pay for a building (Oh, WE ALREADY HAVE ONE!!)
• Employ and pay Interior Design Specialists to modernise the existing  Royal Hotel (For a start, CONTACT OUR OWN NEVILLE KNOTT)
• Get on with the job and cut the waffling after you ignore the village idiots, motor mouths, wannabe journalists and ‘hurlers on the ditch’ who know nothing about hotels

  1. Way back, (the 1975 ??) the Royal Hotel was gutted by fire. The owners, Michael and Peter Regan were devastated, but immediately set about rebuilding and restoring the building to high standards for its time, and for many years the Royal Hotel continued to be an important Town Centre Hub of activity
