The death has occurred of John Gerard Mullany, Glanmire, Cork and late of Boyle, January 31, 2019, peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Mercy University Hospital. John Gerard (Gerry) (retired Garda Síochána), devoted husband to Helen (Fennessy), loving father of Maurice and adored grandad to Luke. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, grandson, daughter-in-law Amy, brothers Tom and Kieran (Married to Carmel O’Dowd), sister Phil, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and his large circle of friends.Lying in repose at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire. Removal at 4.30pm on Saturday to St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill. Requiem Mass at 11.00 on Monday 4th February. Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island
