Summertime, and the fishing is great
Gerry Mattimoe has a special interest in Boyle fishing. Chatting with the man this morning he said “The Fishing on Boyle River is great at the moment. Three fishermen visiting the area netted 60lbs of bream and hybrids between 7am and 10am this Tuesday 7th June close to the boat sheds”
With the late Martin Mitchell, Vincent Regan and probably others, Gerry travelled abroad and within Ireland for years promoting Boyle as a fishing destination. Viewers will be delighted the hear that Gerry is feeling great and enjoying retirement.
