“Gateways” by Fiona McDonald
Boyle is no stranger to matters celestial, and we fondly remember Betty Meyler and her investigations into the topic of UFOs. Following a series of visits to sites in the Boyle region, artist Fiona McDonald has produced a series of works exploring live networks and the idea of making these communication/data systems more visible.
Fiona talked and explained her ‘Gateways’ exhibits following an introduction by Linda Shevlin, visual arts curator for Roscommon Arts Centre on Saturday 1st September. The exhibition will continue in King House until 27th September 2018.
