Back in what some have described as the ‘hay day’ of a vigorous organisation, Boyle Chamber of Commerce hosted and paid ‘mega bucks’ for a study of the town by a group of architectural students. Several detailed drawings and a magnificent 3D model of a ‘future Boyle’ were left here and were on display in King House for a short while. Sadly the drawing and 3D model are now ageing in storage, out of sight and possibly never referred to.
Now that the Chamber and its sibling Town Team will shortly have €100,000 government funding at their disposal it is reasonable to hope that plans made several months ago may be actioned and progressed
