Filming in Boyle during June

“Dear Sean: Hill Sixteen Features in association with RTE will be shooting a feature-length film called “13HOURS” in Boyle this coming June, written and directed by Ciaran Creagh. We are very excited about filming in this beautiful part of the world and with the full support of the County Council, local associations, and of course the great people of Boyle.
We are grateful to all involved.
We will have a full crew on hand and some fantastic Irish Actors. You will see some 80’s types of vehicles on the road and many walkie-talkies around the place. We will be employing as much local talent as possible on the production side and utilizing the bounty of B&B and local hotels for our crew and talent. We will also need some extras and would love for anyone who would like to be involved to email us with their name, age, height to casting@hillsixteen.com Because this is a low budget feature we will not be able to pay them but we will be able to supply cups of coffee and tea and maybe a few biscuits. Our plan is for the least amount of disruption to the local community as we film. Our crew is very professional and well versed in managing these types of shoots. We look forward to being in your wonderful town for about 2 weeks. For further information please reach out to me directly. I am currently in Chicago so please forgive me in advance for the time difference.
Sincerely,
Ferdia Doherty, Executive Producer, Hill Sixteen Features”
