Did you know?: Some time ago, An Post commissioned four paintings by Keash resident/artist Fergus Lyons on the theme of Irish Myths and Legends for a set of Irish Postage Stamps
Fergus is recognised as a leading Irish Painter and has lived in this area for many years and was a founding member of the Cé Arts Festival that preceded Boyle Arts Festival. Paintings created by Fergus hang in prestigious galleries worldwide and in a few Boyle homes. Fergus is a quietly-spoken frequent customer at the Saturday 10am-2pm Courtyard Market on King House grounds.
