Feighan welcomes funding approval of €1.87m to build 10 new social houses in Boyle

Senator Frank Feighan has welcomed funding approval of €1,866,421 to build 10 new social houses in Boyle.
“I am delighted that the Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy has given Roscommon County Council the funding go-ahead for this housing construction scheme at Station Road in Termon.
“The new homes will comprise 6 x 3 Bed Houses and 4 x 2 Bed units.
“This significant housing provision is part of the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Ireland’ housing action plan and follows on from Department funding approval in June of more than €1.4m to purchase and refurbish 12 houses at the Silveroe Meadow Estate in Boyle.
“All of this is very clear evidence that this Government is helping the county council to address the social housing shortage and I look forward to all of these new homes in Boyle coming on stream as soon as possible.”
