Community Monuments Fund 2020

“Hi all, The National Monuments Service has just announced a new Community Monuments Fund 2020 – the first time ever I have seen a grant scheme for archaeological monuments!
The deadline for submission of applications is Thursday 17th September. Please submit your application to heritage@roscommoncoco.ie .
RCC can select a max of 3 projects from community groups or owners/custodians of monuments for consideration by the Department of Culture, Heritage & the Gaeltacht.
In order to be eligible for the grant scheme all works must be completed & a recoupment claim made to the Department by 10th November 2020……….
It’s an unbelievably tight timeframe, but maybe we can achieve something positive for the county from it……
