Comhra TG4 Guest Bertie Hanberry

Bertie Ó hAinmhire (Bertie Hanberry formerly of Kingsland Boyle) will be the guest of presenter Máirtín Tom Sheáinín on the TG4 series Comhra on TG4 on Thursday May 19th at 7.30pm.
The senior civil servant is a native of Kingsland outside Boyle in Co Roscommon but his career has brought him to far-flung places before settling down in the Galway Gaeltacht some twenty years ago. He joined the Department of Foreign Affairs as a young man and was posted to Geneva for a period. He is now a senior official in the Department of the Gaeltacht.
Bertie was a student at St. Mary’s College, Boyle in the early seventies
