Cloonloo N.S. Green School Day of Action

On Tuesday 22nd of February Cloonloo N.S, held our Green School Day of Action. It was Fair Trade Fortnight from the 21st February to the 6th March so we had a Global Citizenship Day at school focusing on Fair Trade. The children and staff dressed up in the colours of World Flags or items of clothing associated with different countries. All the children were taught about Fair Trade and the Fair Trade Symbol. We taste-tested Fair Trade and non-Fair Trade bananas and voted on our favourite. We also tasted Fair Trade chocolate. It was a very enjoyable and educational day!
