Michael O’Dowd grew up on St. Patrick Street, Boyle. Michael, a renowned, popular gynecologist has authored a number of books since retiring to his home in Barna, Co. Galway.

Charlotte Brontë and the Reverend Arthur Bell Nicholls married in 1854 in Haworth, Yorkshire. The newlyweds’ honeymoon was spent in Ireland after a stop-over in Wales. This book is a celebration of their wedding trip and Irish Odyssey.
