Boyle GAA – Update 21st January

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €8,100. The numbers drawn were 19 22 24 29. €20 euro were Gus Gannon, Leanne Connolly and Johnny Dwyer. Next week’s draw will take place Lavins Bar.

Congratulations to the Boyle players who claimed FBD honors with Roscommon. Captained by Enda Smith, the team was rewarded for its hard work and tenacity. Well done to Donie Smith on his Man of the Match performance and to Evan McGrath who also starred on the team. The Club looks forward to seeing Cian McKeon wearing the County colors very shortly.

Ladies notes:
Ladies club AGM Friday 1st Feb at 8pm in the clubhouse. All players, parents, coaches and those interested in the development of Ladies football in Boyle are invited to attend.

Boyle GAA club would like to extend heartfelt sympathies to the Grogan and Keane families on the untimely passing of the late Ann Grogan, Ballinlough.  Condolences are also offered to the Michael Glavey Club  family on the loss of a valued  friend and member.  Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam dilis

The Club also sympathizes with Club Trustee, Mr Christopher O ‘Connor and the the O ‘Connor family on the passing of Mrs Margaret O’Connor.  May her gentle soul Rest In Peace

Boyle GAA Club registration evening will be held on Monday 30th January from 7-9pm in the club house. Any players born before 1st January 2013 invited to register so that they can train and play for the club in 2019. Cost: 12 yrs and under €50, 13-18yrs €60, Non-playing Adult €30.

And finally Enda Smith will be presenting his international rules series in Australia from 2017 to the club at 7.30 the 28th during the underage presentation.
