August 20th: The All Ireland Final of the Spaniel Dog Competition will be held during this year’s Summer Show. Heats for this prestigious competition will be held at various shows through the country before then and qualifying winners will be present in Boyle on the day. Congratulations to our local show committee for seeking and winning the competition for Boyle and particular mention and thanks to Frank Geelan who runs the Dog Show section of Boyle Summer Show every year.
