Royal Hotel – Tenders sought

We have no doubt regarding the accuracy of this week’s Roscommon Herald front-page article about development of the Royal Hotel site.
“Roscommon County Council is seeking tenders for the redevelopment of the Royal Hotel site in Boyle.”  “The tender was posted on the State’s e tenders procurement website on March 30th and the deadline for reply is May 1st”
The article would appear to firmly ‘put to bed’ earlier reports that refurbishment works were to commence last January. We remember the Shannonside News article that stated “Consultants and contractors are in place with work to begin in January.”
