“Unveiling Main Street”
Wednesday 11th September: This evening we are getting a look at renovation works carried out on the first section of Main Street, and it looks great. Roofs have been cleaned and frontages painted in ‘traditional’ colours.
• Scaffolding is now being erected on the next section of the street.
• Boyle was chosen as one of six towns nationwide to receive €140,000 in funding to enhance the streetscape of Main Street in the town, under the Historic Towns Initiative (HTI) 2019, a joint initiative between the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the Heritage Council.
