19th Infantry Bn FCA – Bus trip to Dublin

Thursday 18th June: “A full bus left the Crescent, Boyle for our annual 2018 tour. We visited the National Museum in Collin’s Barracks. On the way up we visited Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. After the museum visit, we headed for Dail and Seanad Eireann. Minister Denis Naughten was unable to meet us as arranged and sent his apologies. A group picture with deputy Eamon Scanlon was taken outside the Dail by Mary Regan. We met Deputy Marc McSharry on the way back to the bus. Then down to Ferrick’s for our evening meal which was excellent. This was a great outing and it was lovely to meet up with old friends. Many thanks to Francie the main organiser and his team.”
