Senator Frank Feighan has welcomed total funding of €35,000 granted to the five agricultural shows which take place across the county every year.
“Castlerea, Elphin, Roscommon, Strokestown along with Boyle Summer Show will receive €7,000 each to help with the staging of their event next year. This funding is part of a national allocation of €812,000 by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring, which will benefit agricultural shows throughout the country in 2018.”
