A large film crew will be in action on The Crescent, Main Street and Lough Key Forest Park, Monday 25th-Saturday 30th September, filming Kevin Barry’s “Dark Lies the Island” – stories based in a fictitious County Roscommon town.
Director Ian Fitzgibbon and Location Manager Conor O’Carroll will make welcome returns to Boyle following their Chris O’Dowd “Moone Boy” film shoots a few years ago.
