Boyle has had its share of major fires through the years including : Rockingham House (twice), The Royal Hotel, Taylors Hardware, a house on Green Street, The Herald Works, The Boys National School in Mockmoyne, D.H. Burke’s Supermarket and St. Joseph’s Church.
