Scoil na nAingeal Naofa
On Sunday the 29th of January, teams representing Scoil na nAingeal Naofa, Boyle, competed in the Credit Union Quiz. They had already battled stiff competition from their classmates to make it onto the Under 11s and Under 13s teams. We were very proud of their efforts, with the Under 13s team finishing as runners-up and the Under 11s team coming in 1st place. The Under 11s will go forward to the next round which will be held at the end of the month. Exact dates and location to follow.
We would also like to congratulate St Joseph’s BNS team who came first in the Under 13s category. With the amalgamation, we will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with!!

• Congratulations to Clíodhna O’Donnell (teacher), Maria Hamill (sna), Anne Kennedy (Transition Yr Student Abbey College) and 5th class of Scoil na nAingeal Naofa, who won the Cumann Scoil Drámaíochta Roscommon competition yesterday. The girls now go forward to represent Roscommon in the Connacht Competition. This is a wonderful achievement for the school and for all of Boyle.
