Sabrina is the Tourism Development & Marketing Officer with Úna Bhán Tourism. Based in the offices of Boyle Craft Shop, Sabrina has the pleasant task of supporting, promoting and enhancing tourism in Boyle and its hinterland. Quoting Sabrina, she says “I love what I do, especially now with the current focus being placed on the region by Fáilte Ireland and their latest campaign for the midlands, ‘Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands’. We have so much to offer our visitors and can shout it from the roof tops. I am really passionate about providing a service to visitors and tourism providers which enhances and sustains their business and experiences. I want our Tourism Providers to feel truly supported and given every opportunity to develop their products. I also want our visitors to have a quality experience that leaves a lasting impression”.

Boyle residents and those from farther afield will know and hold Jim McGrath with great respect and affection as proprietor of the very popular local restaurant ‘The Stairs Gastro Pub’ on The Crescent, Boyle.
Since its opening in September 2018, The Stairs Gastro Pub has developed a reputation for “delicious food” and “friendly staff”. Jamie Jin came to Boyle 5 years ago (2014) and since then with her chef husband Lennie has operated one of Boyle’s favourite restaurants, the Tai Chi Court Chinese on Bridge Street. During her years here Jamie has endeared herself to customers and become a supporter of many local causes including Darkness Into Light, Boyle GAA and attends our Musicals, Arts Festival and many more events.
Tai Chi Court is open seven days from 5pm and offers employment to a number of locals for front of house and home delivery services. Meats and vegetables are sourced locally while traditional sauces are created inhouse whenever possible from purchases at Boyle stores.
While the Tai Chi offers a wide variety of tasty, beautifully presented menu choices, Chef Lennie will happily create an off-menu meal for you.
