A new study published today shows that Roscommon is the county that has the worst high-speed broadband in the country.
According to Ibec’s Local Economic Indicators 2017 report, the county has connectivity of just 36 per cent – compared to 99 per cent in Dublin. Counties in the west of the country generally have very poor broadband, with 40 per cent in Leitrim – the third lowest in the country.
