If you walk on the banks of Boyle Canal, you will have be familiar with this scene. As I was taking the photo on Monday 13th June, the sky ahead was mostly cloud-free, but behind me dark clouds were rolling in. Before long we heard a few blasts of thunder followed quickly by a lengthy torrential rain shower … summer 2016 indeed!
