Hairspray Finale, Wednesday 16th November
First night nerves disappeared the moment the curtains opened on this year’s Boyle Musical Society’s production of Hairspray – The Broadway Musical. The rapturous applause and standing ovation from a full house paid tribute to yet another fabulous BMS show. The exceedingly well-cast leads, the singing and energetic full-on dancing, the stage sets and crew, orchestra, front of house team and everyone involved gave of their very best, and what can one say more than a heartfelt Thank You for a most enjoyable night’s live entertainment.
