Monday 28th Janury: Captain of the Senior Roscommon GAA team and Boyle player Enda Smith made a special appearance at the underage registrations night in the clubhouse and presented a framed Irish jersey from his Australian Rules series 2017 for display in the clubhouse. In his address, Enda reminded us that his membership of the Boyle Club commenced at a registration event 18 years ago.
• In living memory, Enda Smith may be the only Boyle native to captain Roscommon’s Senior GAA team.
