The sun shone all afternoon for the large number of appreciative people attending this year’s Boyle Summer Show. In all, 92 dogs were entered in the dog show competitions that included a very successful All Ireland Spaniel competition. We had a morning and afternoon’s viewing of the horse and pony jumping competitions as well as loads of entries for craft, baking, vegetable and flowers rosettes. DJ Stan played the tunes, there were inflatables for the kids, a couple of Hot Food vendors and an Ice Cream van, Boyle and District ICA, Suzy’s Cupcakes, Michelle’s Wellness Therapies, Martina’s Cards, Lucia’s Jewellery and other stalls offered goodies and advice … all in all a most enjoyable well-organised event for which we must congratulate the dedicated organising committee.
