Sunday 27th August: Today’s event will be judged highly successful. The show committee had plenty for the large attendance to view and enjoy … a major dog show featuring the All-Ireland spaniel competition, pony jumping, food, craft and other stalls as well as a marquee full for the veg, flower, photo, baking and craft entries … and two separate play areas for youngsters
• Boyle Summer show had to be postponed from last week because of a Met Eireann bad weather warning but thankfully this afternoon was dry and mild.
• Well done to the Show Committee, Boyle Men’s Shed, judges, marshals, stall holders, entrants etc … you excelled yourselves this year … thank you!
