Denis Naughten TD spoke before the official opening
Reportedly up to 5,000 people attended the open day and official opening at the Aras an Chontae building in Roscommon town today, Friday 17th June. Officials took those attending on tours of the award-winning building. Many visited stands from Roscommon county arts and crafts businesses, tourism providers, fire, civil defence and other services. They also enjoyed choral and dance performances and afternoon refreshments. Denis Naughten TD, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment performed the official opening.
