Pam, Neil and Jane Stewart with the school’s newly awarded green flag
Friday 17th June was a very important and significant day at Boyle Parochial School on Military Road. Special guest Pam Stewart raised the school’s Green Flag (level 6) – a magnificent achievement with great credit due to teachers Mary Burke and Mardette Lynch. Friday was also Annual Sports Day for the school’s pupils.
• However, the day was tinged with sadness when those present were told that school principal Mary Burke is leaving after her 16 years in the school, and in September will become school principal in Coollooney. Full set of realboyle photos to follow…
