Energy Prices to soar
An “astronomical” increase in the cost of domestic energy announced by one of the State’s leading providers will be replicated by other companies, consumers have been warned. The Government expressed “strong concern” at the move by Bord Gáis Energy to increase its gas and electricity prices by 39 per cent and 27 per cent respectively.
