This year’s well-attended AGM in Dodd’s Lounge was conducted along traditional lines with minutes, annual reports and ‘thank-yous’ from Secretary Patricia Golden, Treasurer Deirdre Moran and Chairperson Liz Gannon. BMS is in a healthy state financially thanks to careful management. Many will be unaware that the cost of mounting shows is enormous — €37, 694 for “The Wizard of Oz”– and made possible only by generous donors, sponsorships and large attendance at shows.
