Ardcarne Cemetery Famine Stone unveiled and Mass
Sunday 18th August: Archaeologist Kieran O’Connor unveiled a Famine Stone dedicated in the everlasting memory of the people from the Ardcarne parish who died in the Great Hunger 1945-1849
Fr. Brendan McDonagh celebrated Sunday mass in the cemetery afterwards, attended by a large congregation.
